Silas Amo-Agyei

Silas is a Research Fellow in HOPE, currently working on an NIHR project evaluating the health impacts of the UK’s welfare reform (Universal Credit), including assessing the short- and long-term costs and consequences of its implementation. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Lausanne, Switzerland, specialising in applied microeconometrics and health economics, and brings substantial international experience, having worked as an Associate Evaluation Officer at the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and as a consultant for the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the World Health Organization (WHO). His research interests focus on Health, Labour, and Development Economics.
