Philip Britteon

Philip is a health economist whose research focuses on the application of econometric and causal inference methods to unpick the impact of health and public services on population health and inequalities.

Since his PhD in 2020, Philip has worked on and led multiple projects, evaluating the impact of health and social care devolution and applying machine learning methods to identify inequalities through an intersectionality lens.

His current research focuses on the application of econometric methods to support local health and care systems, funded by the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration Greater Manchester.

Philip is also a member of the Health Economics Research Group (HESG) and the European Health Economics Association (EuHEA).
