Laura Anselmi

Laura’s research focuses on the financing and organization of public health systems in different settings and mostly involves econometric analysis of secondary data. She has a specific expertise in methods for the equitable allocation of resources, the analysis of equity in health and health care, and the evaluation of health policy and their mechanisms, with attention to the role of local health systems. She collaborates with local, national and international organizations.

She has a background in Economics and Development Economics and pursued a PhD in Health Economics after working in planning at the Ministry of Health in Mozambique.

Laura is also part of the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration Greater Manchester, University of Manchester Healthier Futures initiative.
