Joe is in his second year of a PhD in Health Economics at the University of Manchester, working with supervisors Dr Jon Gibson, Dr Igor Francetic, and Prof. Peter Bower. His current research interest surround investigating the causal effects of nationwide mental healthcare provision on individual-level labour market outcomes.

Joe is a member of UKRI ESRC North West Social Science Doctoral Training Partnership – Health and Wellbeing Pathway.
